The client has an opportunity to take a positive risk to reach out and touch something in a gentle way, and as being abused children, this is often not experienced in their real life situation. After the clients touch several bubbles a brilliant rainbow appears, giving direct positive feedback resulting in the children declaring how beautiful this is and some verbalizing how happy and calm they felt; others smiled with eyes wide open, pleasantly surprised. When appropriate, clients were encouraged to interact with others in a gentle way during that week.
